In one week, on June 10-11, a long-time dream of mine will come true when I race my Formula Vee across the famous “yard of bricks.” What would make it even better is if you joined us at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 2017 Open Wheel World Challenge.
The following week on June 16-18, I’ll be racing at the iconic Road America race track for the June Sprints. This is one of the most beautiful road courses in America and they have recently developed a lot of trails so that you can see most of the 4.032 miles and 14 turns–including the legendary turn on the backside known as “the kink.”
If you decide you’re interested in attending either race, you would have pre-race access to the entire field and get to see the cars up close. Join me in the paddock area with my car–maybe you’d like to pick up a wrench and we’ll work on it together, take some pictures, all good fun. Bring the kids. To get your name added to the guest list, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with which race and the number of people. I’ll send you details by return email. We have a limited number of spots, so it’s first come first serve!
This is strength training for my life’s work. Fresh off the weekend’s unexpected challenges on the race track, I come into work Monday morning knowing, “We can tackle this. We can meet the deadlines, we can make it happen.”
